Swaa Gamya (स्वां गम्य ) is a model social-business (not-for-profit-sharing) of its kind for Nepal. And, and innovative project for “shared prosperity and happiness”.
पूर्वीय, रैथाने/आदिबासी, र पश्चिमा ज्ञानको समागम मार्फत गाउँको गाैरवमय जीवनलाई पुनर्जागृत गर्ने, र पुनः जीवन्त, खुसियाली सहितको, आनन्दित गाउँले जीवन निर्माण गर्ने मुख्य लक्ष्य सहित यो परियोजनाको सुरुवात गरिएको हाे।
A. BACKGROUND
Vibrant, lively, and the most beautiful villages just three decades back are now apathetic, and arid. Large
chunk of young population migrates significantly to the city centers, and even far abroad seeking jobs, and
financial wellbeing. Only senior citizens living in the remote villages are now impotent, and left almost
unsupported. Thus, common plight of our villages can be explained as:
➢ Vibrant and active life cycle of the villages have been destroyed,
➢ Villages are being deserted and monotonous,
➢ Primarily elderly parents are living in the villages with hardships and trouble
➢ Fertile land is uncultivated and barren,
➢ Indigenous skills, crafts, and arts of living are vanishing,
➢ Benefits of science and technology available in the cities are still
B. ANTICIPATED PLAN OF INTEGRATED PROJECT CONSISTING:
Develop a model lab of ‘Shared Prosperity and Happiness’ through amalgam of indigenous, eastern, and
western knowledge.
- WELL-FACILITATED SENIOR CITIZENS DAY CENTER ACTIVITIES/FACILITIES:
- Yoga and meditation || Outpatient physiotherapy facility || Doctor’s clinic
- Outdoor activities for mental and physical stimulations || Few AV Rooms
- Hot water Bath and Sauna facility || Laundry and other services
- MULTIPURPOSE HALL | LIBRARY AND RESOURCE CENTER | ARTS, CRAFTS, AND
CULTURE CENTER TO:
Conduct Trainings and other creative activities for school students of senior classes:
Entrepreneurship development, Leadership, Career counselling, Drama and others.
Conduct various Workshops, Conferences, and Meetings on various topics
Use the hall, art-craft center for MICE tourism, and experiential tourism
Produce and transfer knowledge on various topics
Bring Art, Craft, Skills avail in the city to village
Protect and transfer indigenous and local knowledges/arts to new generation
Produce various artefacts, arts and connect to Tourism - MULTI DIMENSIONAL – MULTIPURPOSE FARM
Farm will consists of Medicinal Herbs, Vegetables, Multiple Fruits Orchard, Cash Crops and
Grains, Livestock and Birds.
Farm will be the center of education, Arogya, and experiential tourism
- TOURIST FACILITIES AND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT
Whole project will be used as a center of Tourism:
Multi-purpose hall for conference and meetings (MICE Tourism), Library for Literary Tourism,
Agricultural Farm for Agro-Tourism and Experiential Tourism, Art/Craft/Culture also for tourism.
Vision:
Develop an integrated center as a model of vibrant, happy, and prosperous rural life that cater and serve with various facilities and activities so as exasperating life in the villages rejuvenates.

एकीकृत सुविधा र क्रियाकलापहरू मार्फत निरस बनेको गाउँलाई पुनर्जागृत र पुनर्ताजगी गर्दै जीवन्त, खुसीले भरिएकाे, समुन्रत, र समृद्ध गाउँले जीवनको एक नमुना विकास गर्ने। ‘साझा समृद्धि र खुसी’को एक नविनतम् प्रयोगशाला निर्माण गर्ने।
Mission:
To revitalize and rejuvenate the rural life which is being apathetic, and arid due to multiple reasons. Swaa Gamya envisions a sustainable and environment friendly model of ‘Shared Prosperity and Happiness’ in remote villages that will: enhance joyful, and respectful life of senior citizens through various activities and facilities; promote and transfer indigenous skills, craftsmanship, arts and culture; promote healthy, prosperous, and balanced life for all. To fulfill this mission, Swaa Gamya will establish a well-facilitated Day Centre for senior citizens; a state of the art library and resource center for all ages; runs a multi-media advance facility hall; works on arts, crafts, and culture preservations; and make the center sustainable through the income from multi-dimensional farm and a tourist facility and other tourism activities.
हाम्राे लक्ष्यः
केही दशक पहिलेसम्म जीवन्त, खुसीले भरिएको र हराभरा गाउँको जीवन हालैका दिनहरुमा विविध कारणहरूले गर्दा निरस, दयनीय, र उजाड जस्तै बन्दै गएको छ, यसलाई पुनर्जागृत र पुनर्ताजगी गर्ने हाम्रो प्रमुख लक्ष्य हो । स्वां गम्यले वातावरणमैत्रि, नवीनतम्, र आर्थिक रूपले दिगो सुन्दर केन्द्र निर्माण गरी गाउँको जीवनलाई आनन्दित, गौरवमय बनाउने; जेष्ठ नागरिकहरूलाई सम्मान गर्दै, विविध सुविधा र क्रियाकलापहरूमार्फत खुसी र आनन्दित जीवनको लागि मद्दत गर्नेे; युवा, विद्यार्थी लगाएत अन्य सबै उमेर समुहका ब्यक्तिहरूलाई स्वस्थ, समृद्ध र खुसी जीवनको लागि विविध कृयाकलापहरु सँचालन गर्ने; आदिवासी ज्ञान, शिल्प, कला, संस्कृतिको संरक्षण, प्रसार गर्ने लक्ष्य लिएको छ ।
Goals and Objectives
- Establish recreational, educational, and luxurious well-facilitated senior citizen day center to make life of senior citizens of rural villages joyful, respectful, happy, and comfortable.
- Run a well-facilitated multidimensional hall and resource center; library and a small IT lab to train youths and children on various skills, and connect villages with the world.
- Preserve and promote indigenous knowledge on various life skills, arts, and culture and introduce foreign arts and skills to villagers through Arts and Culture Center.
- Conduct various trainings, seminars, and interactions related to education, health and arogya, gender, philosophy, arts and culture, environment and participate in knowledge productions.
- Integrate agriculture -through multidimensional and multi purpose farm established in the center – with education, tourism, and health/arogya and showcase a sustainable model of social business of its kind.
- Develop a model lab of ‘Shared Prosperity and Happiness’ through amalgam of indigenous, eastern, and western knowledge.
स्वां गम्य परियोजनाको प्रमुख केही उद्देश्यहरू यस प्रकार रहेका छन् ।
क) जेष्ठ नागरिक बा-आमाहरूको लागि मनोरन्जनात्मक, सूचनामुलक, आरामदायक, र खुसी बाड्ने विविध पूर्वाधारहरू निर्माण गर्ने, र दिवा केन्द्र संचालन गर्ने । जस्तै, योगा र ध्यान स्थल, फिजिओथेरापी स्थल, श्रव्य-दृश्य (अडियो-भिज्युअल) कोठाहरू, साउना र नुहाउने सुविधा सहितको स्थान, चेस-बाघचाल लगाएत घरभित्र खेलिने खेल तथा क्रियाकलापहरू, नि:शुल्क इन्टरनेट पहुँच जस्ता पूर्वाधारहरू ।
ख) स्थानीय र आसपासका विद्यार्थी बाबुनानीहरू, युवाबर्ग, र अन्य जनसंख्या लाभान्वित हुनेगरी विविध किसिमका तालिम, गाेष्ठी, कार्यशाला लगाएत गर्न एक सुविधासम्पन्न बहु-आयामिक हल निर्माण र संचालन गर्ने । साथसाथै पुस्तकालय र श्रोत केन्द्र संचालन गर्ने।
ग) कला, संस्कृतिको आदिबासी ज्ञान, सीप, शिल्पहरू संरक्षण, संवर्धन, र प्रवर्धन गर्न विविध कार्यक्रम गर्ने, कार्यशाला संचानल गर्ने गरी कला-शिल्प-संस्कृति केन्द्र खोल्ने ।
घ) कृषिलाइ शिक्षा, आरोग्य, पर्यटन मार्फत आर्थिक उपार्जन गर्दै समुन्नत समाज र समृद्धिसंग जोड्ने गरी स्वां गम्य बहु-आयामिक बहुउद्देश्यीय कृषि फारम संचालन गर्ने।
ङ) स्वास्थ्य र आरोग्यको लागी योग, ध्यान जस्ता क्रियाकलापहरू संचालन गर्ने। शारीरिक, मानसिक सन्तुलन कायम गरी सुखी-खुसी समाज निर्माण गर्न सहयोग गर्ने।
च) शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, वातावरण र पर्यावरण, आर्थिक उन्नति, समानता जस्ता सुखद र आनन्दमयी जीवनका लागी आवश्यक विविध बिषयहरूको तालिम संचालन गर्ने। र समाजका विविध बिषयहरूमा अध्ययन, अनुसन्धान गर्ने।
छ) उल्लेखित सामाजिक सेवाको कार्य दिगो रुपमा गर्न कृषिलाई, र पर्यटनलाई प्रयोग गर्ने। पर्यटकीय गन्तव्यको निर्माण गर्ने र विविध पूर्वाधारहरू निर्माण गरी पर्यटकीय गतिविधिहरू संचालन गर्ने।
ज) पूर्वीय, पाश्चात्य, आदिबासी, स्थानीय/रैथाने विविध ज्ञानको समागममार्फत एक उत्कृष्ट ‘साझा समृद्धि र खुसी’काे नवीनतम् प्रयोगशाला नमुनाकाे रूपमा विकास गर्ने।
